Powell Laboratories (P) Limited, formerly known as Powell Homoeo Research Laboratory, is a Powell Group Enterprise, engaged in manufacturing and marketing of Homoeopathic Medicines and Wellness products, was established by Late Prof. Dr. Sailendra Nath Roy, who was a doyen of the Indian Homoeopathy, a Homoeopath of international repute, a person with indomitable zeal to serve mankind, an entrepreneur by passion, a researcher by instinct and a visionary leader by virtue. Late Dr. Roy struggled hard to overcome economic hardships in his early life due to the devastations caused by the partition of Country. Despite all the hurdles, he graduated from the University of Calcutta and joined Homoeopathy at Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. Later on he served as a Professor of Homoeopathy, under the University of Calcutta. During this tenure, with his earnest research endeavors he came up with some therapeutic domino effects, which he desired to utilize for the service to humanity. This embarked his journey of entrepreneurship.

With endeavors of Late Dr. Roy, the organization emerged as an icon of quality and is now transformed into a body corporate Powell Laboratories (P) Ltd. and is a member of Powell Group of Companies.

Presently, the Company is run by the Board of Directors, headed by Co-founder Smt. Rita Roy who is carrying the legacy of her husband Late Dr. Roy, as the Chairperson of the Powell Group of Companies.

Late Dr. Roy’s able son Dr. Sudipta Narayan Roy is the Managing Director and CEO of the Company and is committed to the mission and values of the organization which already manifests in his various achievements worldwide.
